After moving to Indianapolis, to be near her sisters and brothers, she met her future husband, David Garrett Watson of Indianapolis, at ballroom dancing classes, which they both enjoyed.

They later married and moved to Florida after honeymooning here and falling in love with the state. She was a stay-athome wife and mother and was active in the Brandon Homemakers Club. Mrs. Watson is survived by her devoted and loving family, which includes her husband, David and son, David Jr. (Betty) of Apollo Beach, and three daughters, Vicki Marsee (Donald) of Temple Terrace, Debby Stewart (Greg) of Tampa, and Donna Kovash (Paul) of Tampa; and nine grandchildren (Donald (Dawna), Robert (Ali) and Shawn Marsee, Greg (Crystal) and Michael Stewart, Jessica, Sarah and Gabrielle Watson, and Osa Winter.
