OBITUARIES ADKINS, Doris was January 27, 1929, in Huntington, W.Va., and passed away June 14, 2010, in Tampa. Preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Bird, and daughter, Betsy, she is survived by her daughter, Toni Donnelly; sons, John and wife, Lisa, and Daniel and wife Vicki. She also leaves behind five grandchildren; two sisters, Jan Meeks of Florida and Margaret Bird; and brother, Gary Bird of West Virginia. CARTER, Barbara 59, of Tampa, died Saturday, June 12, 2010. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Woodrow Carter; sons, Woody Carter 'and Shawn Ferguson; stepdaughters, Denise Vazquez and Kelly Dekilder; stepson, Ricky Carter; and stepdaughter, Janice Adams; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. CLARK, Sheila, 39, of Hudson, died June 14, 2010. She is survived by her children, Megan and Marissa; parents, William, Jeanette; siblings, Kimberly, Keith. He spent most of his career in Washington, D.C., retiring to North Carolina, then Florida. Preceded in death by his parents, Dean and June; brother, John Fullerton; and sister, Norma Fullerton, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Julia; daughter, Cathy Fullerton of Raleigh, N.C.; three sons, Scott (Mary Ann) Fullerton of Land O' Lakes, Jim (Michelle) Fullerton of Apex, N.C., and Dirk Fullerton of Cary, N.C.; six grandchildren, Owen (Kim) of Land O' Lakes, and Anthony, Alexandra, Ella, Jaime, and Mikaela Fullerton, all of North Carolina.

Bill retired from government service and as an adjunct professor in the School of Medicine at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He spent his life serving his country, first in the U.S. Army, then Social Security Administration, Medicare Program, Library of Congress, and the Committee on Ways Means of the House of Representatives. A celebration of Bill's life will take place 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 20, at Loyless Funeral Home.

She was a charter member of the Palma Ceia United Methodist Church and was a registered nurse for 20 years at Tampa General Hospital before her retirement. Mary had a wonderful sense of humor and she was the most loving and caring wife and mother. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Frank; children, Margie Butler (John), Sue Gates (Elliot), Cathy Algood and Bill Zaremba; sister, Shirley Minnich; grandchildren, Angie Burd, Jack Gates (Jennifer), Ann Prete (Michael), Johnny Butler (Kim), Bart Butler (Allison) and Matt Butler; and greatgrandchildren, Brandon Rogers, Johnny Butler Ill, Joshua Gates, Jacob Gates, Noah Gates and Eliana Gates. Lexi was a student at Wiregrass Ranch High School and an active participant in school activities, and was a volunteer for the Shriners Hospital for Children. Carlie loved kindergarten at Seven Oaks Elementary School and was a ray of sunshine to all those fortunate enough to know her. The Ulrich family celebrated their life and love for one another by sharing countless adventures. Their combined energy was a gift and inspiration that was shared with all.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Florence; his parents, Raymond and Mary (Casey) Hoefler; and brother, Robert. He is survived by his loving family, which includes his children, Bonnie Hoefler (Jack Trytten), Christine (Danny Rivera), Alison Hoefler, Deanne (Brian Heath), and Leslie Hoefler; sister, Jane Earle; brother, Paul (Peggy) Hoefler; grandchildren, Raymond and Kyle Samples, Jamie and Jack Heath, Holly Trytten, Jesse and Nicholas Rivera; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ray received degrees from Lehigh University in chemistry, math and music, and later received a juris doctorate degree.

A decorated U.S. Army. veteran, he was a POW in the Korean War. He retired after 35 years from Eastman Kodak Co. as a director in marketing and from Color Corporation of America as an EVP.

After retiring, Ray was a diligent volunteer at the Suicide Crises Center, SBA, St. Paul Catholic Church, and with AARP as a tax consultant. Warm, generous with a sense of humor and wealth of knowledge, Ray was an amazing example of bravery and love of life. A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at St.

Paul Catholic Church, with family receiving friends beginning at 8:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater. Parker; daughters, Cheryl Mumm of Tampa and Theresa Cook Dade City, a son, David P. Parker, of New Ellenton; a sister, Rebecca Sanchenz of Land-O-Lakes, seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Blount Curry Carrollwood Chapel WATSON, Jessie Faye Hampton, 82, died June 13, 2010, at her home in Brandon, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease She was born March 29, 1928 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the eighth of nine children. After moving to Indianapolis, to be near her sisters and brothers, she met her future husband, David Garrett Watson of Indianapolis, at ballroom dancing classes, which they both enjoyed.

They later married and moved to Florida after honeymooning here and falling in love with the state. She was a stay-athome wife and mother and was active in the Brandon Homemakers Club. Mrs. Watson is survived by her devoted and loving family, which includes her husband, David and son, David Jr. (Betty) of Apollo Beach, and three daughters, Vicki Marsee (Donald) of Temple Terrace, Debby Stewart (Greg) of Tampa, and Donna Kovash (Paul) of Tampa; and nine grandchildren (Donald (Dawna), Robert (Ali) and Shawn Marsee, Greg (Crystal) and Michael Stewart, Jessica, Sarah and Gabrielle Watson, and Osa Winter.

She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Brendyn, Chandler, Lia and Jackson Marsee, and McKenna and Delaney Stewart; as well as many nieces and nephews and her other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
